1 Our commitment
Tillerhouse is committed to making tillerhouse.shop accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most widely used for websites in the United States, and we review the site for accessibility as we add features and products.
2 What we have done
- Text and controls are designed with strong color contrast.
- Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Form fields have visible labels, and error messages say what needs correcting.
- Pages use real headings, lists and landmarks in a logical order, so screen readers can navigate them.
- Images that carry information include text alternatives.
- Layouts adapt to phones, tablets and zoomed-in text without hiding content.
- Animations are reduced for visitors whose device is set to prefer reduced motion.
3 Known limitations
Some parts of the site are provided by third-party software, such as the payment form at checkout, and we do not fully control how they behave. We test them and report problems to their makers. Product images and descriptions supplied by manufacturers, such as box photography with embedded text, may also be less accessible than our own pages. If you need any product information in a different format, email us and we will provide it.
4 Ordering with assistance
If any part of the website makes it hard to place an order, email support@tillerhouse.shop. We will help you choose a product and complete your order by email.
5 Tell us about a problem
If you have trouble using any part of this website, contact us at support@tillerhouse.shop. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and the assistive technology you use if you are comfortable sharing it. We respond within 2 business days and use this feedback to fix problems and improve the site.
6 Ongoing work
We review the website for accessibility when we make significant changes, and we update this statement when our approach changes.
